Message from Emma H
Had a quick look on AA Route Finder and it says that from Leeds central it takes about half an hour to get to the Wetherby school where the workshop is taking place Wednesday morning. However that does not allow for traffic – with it being rush hour time. So I think you guys are probable best setting off about 8.30am – as the children will be there and ready to begin work at 9.30am – is this all ok with you your end – early start I know?!?!
I am going to aim to be at the school for around 9am to meet with the relevant school staf and make sure all is set their end before you guys arrive.
The address for the school is
Wetherby Deighton Gates Primary School
Deighton Road
Wetherby

Supermarket Sweep!!
Message from Emma Hopkinson:
Friday 15th Feb, 10am the Asda store in Pudsey is allowing us to take the Tracker children there to do a supermarket sweep workshop! Sally Brown our PR officer will be arranging some press coverage i.e. Yorkshire Post, Look North etc. So are you guys able to attend at all? Any of the students are more than welcome to attend – would be a great chance to get some fab photos for the booklet!
I am going to do some product research about the ranges that Asda offer – Sandra showed me the range of food they do for children with exciting packaging and nutritional information on them designed to get children eating healthy: So I thought this range would be good to include somewhere in the dash!

American Obesity ad from Ad Council

Howdy, just came across this and thought it was worth posting. Maybe the wrong direction for the publication but thought it might inspire something else. Check out the website www.adcouncil.org where theres a whole array of them. J
